after 13 weeks learning research and project (RnP), I've learned a lot. i've learned how to make proposal, appointment with interviewee and make report.
it is my first time make appointment and interviewed a stranger. if in sem 3 we can interviewed family members or lecturer, but as for this semester, we were not allowed to interview students or lecturers in KPMIM. as for my research, i had chosen "missing children" because as we can see the case of missing children are increasing from years to years and for 2007 only, the cases were reported is 1793 children were missing.
besides that, i found the topic interesting and close to my heart because as society, it is my responsibility to warn and inform people about the increasing cases

this subject is interesting as i have learned new things and it was precious experienced i had.With supportive and understanding lecturer like Mr Ahmad, he makes this subject more fun and easy.

Libya country had won the event

On 29 March ago, Diploma in English Communication (DECOM) Department had organize Cultural Event and all Decomers semester four are compulsory to take part in the event. In our first lecture for Social, State and Individual (SSI), students were inform to assign their chosen country as soon as possible. We were divided into 25 group and were given time to choose one of Islamic country to be presented on that day.

As for my group, we had chosen to represent Libya. We wore Libya dress and prepared Libya foods, traditional music and presenting Libya’s dance. On that day, many country were well presented by Decomers and Decom’s lecturers were praise for us because of the team work and willingness shown by us. I just finished watching a movie based on the novel title Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. Few weeks left before the final examination starts and because all my roommates were tension with assignments, tests and revision, we decided to take one-day break by doing our own things. When I have the copy for Twilight movie, I was ignored it at first because I just hate movie that unrealistic and I was not big fan of Robert Pattison. But then, I don’t have any new movie in my laptop, so I decide to watch it. At first, I am a little bit boring with the movie but after 10 minutes I watched it, I just fall in love with the movie. In the same day, I watched it three times and everyday I will make sure that I watch the movie. I can’t believe that I am addicted to Twilight movie. I can’t wait to watch new sequel from Twilight. It is an awesome movie and everyone should watch it. Now, I will spend every time that I have by reading the Twilight novel.

most special guy in my life

Falling in love might be a most wonderful thing that happens in our life. However, when it come to break out, we felt nothing just like an empty soul inside our body. We hurt mentally because we never prepared to fall in love and to break up. Sometimes I am wondering should I fall in love, should I face the entire break up thing and lost something that precious in my life. The questions that I have no answer for it. I do not want to fall in love anymore, for this time. All I want to do is focus on my study and achieve my ambition. I don’t care what people might think of me or their perception towards me but I don’t need a guy now. I already have one man in my life, he just so adorable, great man, full with love, understanding, caring and most important thing he just too special for me. He is my dad. I love my dad so much and I don’t know how my life will be if lose him. I already lost someone that I love for the entire life, my mum. Now, my dad just likes a backbone and most of my free time I just want to spend with him. He is my lover and my soul. I just love to let my dad make decision to something that I feel it is important. Some of us might think I am a daddy little girl but yes it just true. I feel safe when my dad make a decision and it not because I am afraid to make it on my own but I just want to share everything with my dad. When it comes to study, my dad is very serious person and he wants his children to focus and achieve our ambitions. Every time I feel tension and useless, all I do is think of my dad and his advices. When I am facing problem, I always remember what he always tell me: to be patience. I want to be a successful person and daughter because of my dad. All my sisters are entering universities and they have their own career. Their successful has given me spirit to move on and be just like them. As my dad always said, I can do it. I wrote this because I just want my dad to know that I love him, and I appreciate everything that he makes for us. Abah, I love you so much and thanks for everything. Love you dad!

Friendships never end.

Friend means that someone that you can count on when you’re facing problems, always stand by you during your happiness and sadness. ‘What is a true friend? The one who’s running in when all starts running out.’ I am blessing to have best friends in my life.
I am lucky to have friends that are always supports me in my life to get through the days. I have five best friends which are always stand by me and we always share laughter and tears together. We are always share secrets and we even have theme song for our friendship. Three of my best friends are in KPMIM and we have been together since semester one and now I am in semester four. It really great to find out that all of us ‘satu kepala’ in everything we do. They are Nabila, Syuhaida and Fatimah. Nabila or nab is happy go lucky and she hardly lost tempered. Usually she will be the calm one in solving the problems. But, once she lost tempered, all of us will run away from her. Meanwhile, Syuhaida or Syusyui more serious compared to four of us. She is nice, understanding and she is like big sister . Fatimah or Fatty is kind-hearted, do not like to fight and always trying to solve and protect her friends. All of us always taking care of each other and we are protective and supportive to every one of us. I just love to be friends with them and there are no words to explain how much I love them.

I am back again at MPCIM to start new semester for 2009. There are lots of works to do after I got my result for last semester. I need to improve on my pointer and I determined to study hard for this semester. Enter the new semester means that I am going to learn new stuff and new subject. Well, for my first blog for this semester, I would like to share my experienced in learning RESEARCH and PROJECT subject. It is really an interesting subject to learn especially when you have a great and experience lecturer teaching you. First, we were been introduced about this subject and my lecturer, Mr. Ahmad told us what is the meaning of research in previous class. Research can be defined as investigation that been done in order to find the truth about something. Above and beyond that we also had been exposed with on how to conduct a research. In order to carry out the research, first we should identify the issue or problem that we feel close to our heart. Then, we should define what the issue, hypothesis, who, where and why we want to do the research on that particular topic. There are few steps that I can share with you: 1) identify the problem
2) review literature
3) collect data, conduct experiment
4) analyse data
5) draw conclusion

For writing a research report, it’s important for us to clarify ideas, organize the data and correctness of grammar. To write a report, you should write the introduction first. Then, write the literature review section, write data collection method section, write the result and discussion section and last but not least, write the conclusions and recommendation section. After hearing the explanation from Mr. Ahmad, I am eager to start doing my research and does the report on the issue that I have choose. But before that, we need to do the presentation first before I can start working on my proposal. Hopefully everything going to work well and I can do research on my topic.
